balayage

Back Info: Balayage is a hair coloring technique designed to create very natural-looking highlights that grow out without developing a noticeable and obvious root.
This method of coloring emerged in Paris in the 1970s; the name is French for “to sweep,” a reference to the way in which the color is applied. After it was exported to the United States, balayage became extremely popular in the late 1990s.
How its done: When hair is colored with the balayage process, the highlights are painted on by hand in a sweeping motion that moves from the base to the tip of the hair. At the base, the color is applied very lightly, while at the tip, the color is very heavy. The result is a chunky highlight that looks naturally sunbleached, and as the hair grows out, the root will be concealed for the first few months by the thinner color applied to the base of the hair. COLOR AFTER CARE:
You can greatly increase the health of your hair and the vibrancy of your new hair color by following some basic after care solutions and regimens.
- Book timely touch up appointments especially if you are prone to gray hairs
- Use Color Safe ONLY Shampoo & Conditioner.
- Professional Shampoo & Conditioner is the only thing we recommend to guarantee the shelf life of your hair color.
- Do not do any at home DIY ever on your hair. Its just not worth it to get fixed including do it yourself bangs!
- DO NOT over heat your hair with styling products. Talk to your stylist about the proper ways to use styling tools. Don't dry out and fry your new beautiful hair!
- Dry shampoo is great...But it isn't the forever remedy. It is a myth that too many hair washes will dull color. Wash normally we promise. Only exception to this is Fashion Colors (Blue, Pink, Purple, Red, Green etc
